Graphic Arts

The course of studies for the attainment of an Academic Diploma in Visual Arts and Disciplines of Show Business with major in Graphic Arts aims at forming artists and professional figures in the visual arts field qualified to use traditional graphic language techniques as well as any of the contemporary methods from the multiplicity currently applied in the sector.

Graduates must:

  • possess methodological skills to operate in a professional and innovative manner in the field of original printmaking.
  • possess technical skills in the various areas of graphics;
  • possess critical tools for the interpretation of visual phenomena and graphic languages;
  • possess effective tools for communication and description of results, particularly the integration of new multi-media technologies;
  • be able to express themselves and obtain information in a European foreign language;
  • have adequate IT skills so as to integrate them in the creative process

The professional qualification obtained at the end of the studies in Graphic Arts addresses the sector of the arts and the publishing industry:

  • Engraving Artist
  • Designer in charge of printing and publishing art
  • Illustrator
  • Engraving, Serigraphy, Lithography, Xylography Technician
